Opera Releases iOS Version Of Crypto Browser

Internet browser company, Opera has launched the iOS version of its mobile web browser named the ‘Opera Touch’.

Opera Touch iOS version is developed for iPhone users, as a follow up of its Android version released in 2018. The iOS browser is said to support same features including the Ethereum (ETH) protocol and API; which means it will accommodate ETH decentralized apps (DApps), all ERC-20 tokens, stablecoins and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Another major crypto feature on the browser is the Opera Crypto Wallet, a cryptocurrency wallet which allows users store their ETH.

Head of Crypto at Opera browsers, Charles Hamel remarks:

We believe that all modern browsers should integrate a crypto wallet. This wallet will enable new business models to emerge on the web. Opera is the first browser to make using crypto on the Web seamless and easy. Following a strong demand from the crypto-community, we are now making this experience available on iOS.

Asides its crypto utility, the Opera Touch browser is also the first mobile browser with ‘Web 3’ support on iOS.

Opera also highlights its partnership with crypto collectible platform “Marble.Cards”, an application which turns website URLs into unique collectible cards registered as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.

In all, the Opera Touch features a great design interface and is currently available for download on the App store. Enjoy the new crypto and blockchain browser experience!
