Nigeria Hosts First Blockchain Women Conference in Africa

Blocktech Blockchain Ladies Africa Conference

Friday, April 12 2019, the commercial city of Lagos, Nigeria played host to delegates from around the world at the first ever Blockchain Conference for Women in Africa. The event named 2019 Blocktech Women Conference was held at the Virginrose Resorts, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Theme of the free-pass conference “The Looming Financial Revolution: An Engine For Social Tranquil”, focused on education of participants (male and female) on various aspects of blockchain technology notably; Women and Blockchain, Digital Assets Trading, Blockchain in Public & Private Sector, Blockchain in Supply Chain, Blockchain Application Programming & Coding, Personal & Business Branding and many more.

The event featured speakers from various countries including: Reggie Middleton, Founder and CEO of Veritaseum (USA), Alakanani Itireleng, Founder Satoshi Centre (Botswana), Genevieve Leveille, Founder AgriLedger (Jersey), Linus Kingdom, Editor at eBlockbuzz, Lindsay Nuon, CEO Woman of Color in Blockchain (USA), Doris Ojuederie, Founder Blockchain African Ladies (Nigeria), Faith Obafemi, a Blockchain Lawyer, among other keynote speakers.
